Sandi’s book launching for I Chose Love is scheduled for December 6, 2023, from 5-7 in the Hoxie Gallery (in the Westerly Library) on the 30th Anniversary of her art exhibit “The Temple of the Soul.” This is the same gallery where Sandi painted and erased her mural to represent the preciousness of life. Students from the Salve Regina Holistic Program will be painting excerpts from her book “I Chose Love” and displaying them on the gallery walls. The original painting from Sandi’s book’s cover (that Sandi painted) will also be on display and auctioned. 50% of the winning bid with go to Sails Up for Cancer. As people enter the gallery from 5:00 to 5:30 they will receive a healing Sound Bath by Sound Therapist, Marlisa McLaughlin. Sandi will be doing a reading from 6:00 to 6:30. Certain people who Sandi credits as helping her heal will be recognized. They’ll be wearing nametags and available to answer the public’s questions. After Sandi speaks, Nancy Clay Caron will play classical music on a piano as people enjoy each other and the art.
